Combo Sabroso will be back in Portsmouth on Saturday, April 9 for the annual Caribbean Nights Party to benefit Haiti with its popular brand of reggae and Latin vibes, as well as a special guest. Joanne Connolly, director of the hugely popular Portsmouth choruses Con Tutti and Voices from the Heart, will join the band for a few songs. Connolly's chorus and Combo Sabroso band members Matt Jenson and David Rivera performed together in Puerto Rico last year and we are excited to have them back together for the Life and Hope Haiti benefit.

In addition, Piotrek of Salsa Secrets, a Seacoast-based dance company, is putting together a team of his best students to show off some expert Latin dancing. This team will be performing during a band break, providing a free show.

Tickets for the dance, which remain at just $20, are available on line (buy now). We will have a list but you can also print your receipt to bring. Tickets will also be sold in local stores (Nature's Way in South Berwick, Black Bean in Rollinsford, Ceres and River Run in Portsmouth and Lil's and Fair Tide in Kittery) or by sending a check to "Life and Hope" to Agnes Charlesworth, 12 High Pasrture Road, Kittery Point, ME 03905.

As always, the ticket price includes a buffet of food from great local restaurants - including wings from Tulsi; chowder from Roberts; pizza from Flatbread; chips and guacamole from Locos and a surprise dessert from Black Bean. A visual journey through the school and its connection to Seacoast NH/Maine will begin at 7 pm and dancing starts at 8 pm.

We can't wait to see you.

It's the hottest, warmest and coolest party in town. We have another exciting line-up of entertainment for the 2017 Caribbean Nights Dance Party. For tickets, email back or pay at https://lifeandhopehaiti.org/donate/ and save the receipt. $20 a ticket.
